North American mobile communications markets are fast approaching slowdown, with subscriber acquisitions expected to slow down starting 2007. While penetration in the United States will cross the 80 percent mark in 2007, Canadian markets are expected to sustain the momentum for some time. High-speed wireless data offered over 3G and higher bandwidth networks is being relied on for growth. Innovative applications as well as usage of the wireless ecosystem will be required to sustain ARPU levels.
