Description

Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. It is a chronic disease marked by high levels of glucose in the blood. The primary goal to treat type 2 diabetes is diet and exercise. However, if diet and exercise does not help maintain normal glucose levels, physicians may prescribe medication.

A sample size of 1,002 adult type 2 diabetes patients who use an injection pen to administer their medication into their bodies to regulate their disease were surveyed to assess their awareness, usage, and preferences of injection pens.
