This Microelectronics TOE profiles developments in antennas, wide band gap semiconductors, and data storage. Innovations include narrowband (NB) antenna for IoT applications, plasmonic antennae for optoelectronics applications, a diamond platform for high power electronics applications, eco-friendly indoor space sterilization, and a breakthrough memory technology using hafnium oxide.

The Microelectronics TechVision Opportunity Engine (TOE) captures global electronics-related innovations and developments on a weekly basis. Developments are centred on electronics attributed by low power and cost, smaller size, better viewing, display and interface facilities, wireless connectivity, higher memory capacity, flexibility and wearables.
