Infant mortality in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda is relatively high. Diarrhoeal diseases and vaccine-preventable diseases are major causes of infant mortality in the region. Progress in increasing coverage of vaccination services in the region has saved many lives. This research service is an overview of the paediatric vaccines market in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda. It highlights key drivers and restraints to the access of vaccines in the regions. The research also highlights total costs of vaccines and vaccination programmes in the region and highlights key funders.
