Description

This study defines and discusses mega trends that would influence energy demand in China. An overview and analyses are provided concerning the energy consumption, the installed energy capacity, and the key power generation stations in China. Based on the current installed capacity, plans for future power generation infrastructures and future power demand till 2020 are described and examined in detail in this study. Complete country-wide analysis of China is included in this study, which discusses the regional factors and regional mega trends that would have the strongest impact on energy consumption leading up to 2020.
