This survey was conducted with 301 U.S.-based IT decision makers, reflecting a range of company sizes and industries. Stratecast looked beyond cloud adoption to ask our IT decision-maker respondents about their use of virtualization within their own private data centers. In doing so, we are seeking to understand their investment choices and priorities across a broad range of data center challenges, not just those related directly to cloud computing. The responses, presented in this study, will be of interest to cloud service providers, managed service providers, data center consultants, and systems integrators who are interested in helping enterprises build a data center roadmap that will serve their companies in the future.
