The APAC network security market endured a slow start to the year, registering a relatively flat performance in Q1’10 after clocking a marginal decline of -1.8 percent on a YoY basis. Whilst the slowness could be largely attributed to Q1’10 being the first fiscal quarter for most markets in the region, the prevailing enterprise mindset of caution and prudence also meant that enterprises were less willing to commit funds too quickly.
