This research service examines the South African valve and actuator market over the period, 2004 – 2014. The product segments studied are Multi-turn valves, Quarter-turn valves, Control valves and Actuators. Within the Multi-turn valves segment the gate, globe, pinch, needle and diaphragm valves are discussed. The quarter-turn valves segment will focus on the ball, butterfly and plug valves. The Actuator segment will have a further segmentation between electric actuators and pneumatic actuators. The end user segments under analysis in this research service are: water & wastewater, metals & mining, power, petrochemicals & chemicals and others (including pulp & paper and food & beverage).
