The Russian economy has bounced back from the latest global crisis. The various reforms launched by the Government aim at improving business climate, regulations and strengthening cooperation with developed countries to diversify and modernize petroleum-based production. The Russian chemical industry is supported by the Government as one of the pillars of the modern economy. Government plans focus on upgrading the aging feedstock links and develop six major chemicals zones to increase the competitiveness of the chemical industry.
