Description

This study provides a top-level analysis of the power generation industry in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Non-EU Balkan countries. For each country the following information is presented: an overview of power demand, environmental policy, domestic energy resources, installed capacity breakdown by type of fuel, and key market players. The last two give an idea about a country’s major electricity sources and the utility companies active in the country. Expected changes to the fuel mix and the development of the competitive landscape are discussed, with reference to future infrastructure investment.
