Description

This study examines the total North American brake system parts aftermarket for cars and light trucks (to 14,000 pounds). The following parts are covered: Friction parts -- pads and shoes; Hydraulic Parts--wheel cylinders, master cylinders, and calipes; rotors and drums. Unit demand, manufacturer-level revenues, and average prices are quantified over the 2001-2011 period. North America is defined as the United States and Canada. Revenues are projected separately for these two markets over the 2001-2011 forecast period.
