This research service is an analysis of key automotive repair industry metrics that influence the size and growth rates of replacement component sales, labor services, and total repair industry revenues in North America. The study looks at key metrics including the in-use vehicle population and analyzes the population by age, vehicle manufacturer brand share, age of vehicles, warranty status and miles travelled. In addition to a healthy vehicle population, to be successful, the industry needs a strong support structure. This study examines the number of service provider locations and technicians, forecasts are provided for both through to 2013.
