Description

The economic outlook of the region for H2 2015 does not look promising, as Brazil and Russia continue to be negatively impacted due to lower commodity prices. Devaluation of local currency and softening of Gross Domestic Product growth are anticipated to create further market distortions in China. Persistent high unemployment and decreasing productivity of labor force make the outlook for South Africa grim as well. However, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pushed forward much awaited structural reforms in India, so the outlook for India remains bullish for the second half of 2015.
