The objective of this issue-based deliverable is to explore the impact of the global economic slowdown on the high-growth omega-3 market and to discuss the decision to use different sources of omega 3 fatty acids given various constraints tied to ingredient efficacy and ingredient cost. Implications, key challenges and recommendations are also given.
