As Venezuela has been plunged into a deep economic and political crisis, consumers have been seeking means in which to lower all costs, including that of Internet access. And while migration towards broadband technologies (especially amongst enterprises) continues to occur, use of services such as prepaid Internet cards has grown, meeting that necessity to control monthly expenditures. Nonetheless, if and when the situation in the country improves, there is still considerable room for growth, in both broadband and overall Internet access.
