More than half of US and European respondents currently using cloud technologies find cloud computing technologies to be highly effective, which indicates that exposure to these technologies can lead to greater adoption. Over the next 3 years, adoption of cloud technologies is likely to increase. Overall, European businesses allocate a larger percentage of their revenue to IT budgets compared to their US counterparts. Small businesses allocate the largest portion of their IT budget to customer care, medium businesses on mobile devices, and large businesses on network security.
