This research service provides strategic insights into omega-3 fatty acid in pharmaceutical applications. The global omega-3 pharmaceutical market is emerging and presents immense potential. Omega-3 supplied as dietary supplements are formulated with less than 50% of EPA and DHA, causing a deficit in nutritional balance and eventually leading to more capsule consumption per day. Inadequate omega-3 dosage in dietary supplements has turned consumers towards pharmaceutical omega-3, resulting in high demand. Consumers increasingly prefer high-concentrated omega-3, as it reduces the dosage and the number of capsules required per day.
