Description

This report will address the value of IR technology for the US military and commercial markets, detailing use for ground and airborne sensor systems. Additionally analysis will compare cooled and uncooled systems, staring and scanning capabilities, define costs and cost savings, as well as, predict the market and its potential. The commercial and military surface systems will include shipborne, vehicle mounted, man portable and stationary infrared imaging devices. As expected the commercial airborne systems will include those devices on airplanes, helicopters,and other nonmilitary aerial programs. Military airborne systems will include those devices on airplanes, helicopters, missiles and other military aerial programs.
