The majority of current home owners surveyed own existing construction homes. Most do not believe their homes include many green products/services surveyed.

Overall, usage of green products/services that require less expense/steep up-front investment or extra effort – such as energy efficient lighting – are more popularly adopted. Whereas, other green products/services that require steep up-front investment (such as solar panel systems) and/or home owner effort (such as installing water saving tapware, rain water harvesting, etc.) are less popularly used/adopted.
