The APAC secure content management recorded a flat growth of 6.3 percent on a YoY basis, as the global economic slowdown took its toll on the fast growing APAC region. Nonetheless, the continual emergence of IT as an important business enabler in APAC enterprise setups, coupled with rising levels of security awareness, meant that many enterprises still went ahead with their content security investments in a bid to enhance their business competitiveness during a particularly economically challenging period. With global economic conditions on the mend, the content security market is expected to bounce back strongly in 2010, with CAGR estimated to hit a healthy 18.4 percent during the forecast period.
