In this first edition of Environmental and Building Technology alerts, we look at a number of diverse areas from the building technologies prespective. The edition throws light on a novel carbon dioxide engine developed by SenseAir, key research activities at NIST, underfloor air distribution system techniques, and assesses future R&D in sensors and control for buildings.
