Mobile services have proven to have a rapid uptake by the population in Latin America. Its continued growth is expected to be based on expanding network coverage and increased awareness in new potential sectors and technology services. Limitations do exist, like unstable economies, new threat of competitice local fixed services / fast deploying fixed wireless service, but over time mobile services will increasingly become the dominant point of communication across the region.
