Colombia hosts one of the most interesting markets for cloud computing in Latin America, with several ICT providers investing by building new datacenters and forging strategic partnerships with strong local participants. This study details the current scenario and future perspectives of the cloud computing market in Colombia, presenting the 2012 market size and revenue forecasting to 2017. Drivers and restraints are explored, presenting key regional factors such as Law 1581 (July 2013) that established data protection norms required by all providers. Three predictions conclude the research.
