Description

Countries in Emerging Europe are dependent on their developed counterparts in the region for export demand and investment. Investment flows to emerging European countries remain volatile and most of them have fiscal impediments to growth. Energy production is expected to increase in Poland and Hungary, and investment is expected to increase in the region's largest economy, Turkey, as a result of an upgrade in Turkey's credit rating in 2012. An increase in export orders is also expected for Turkey in H1 2013, thereby providing a platform for manufacturing growth in the region.
