Description

This study analyzes the regulatory outlook for telecommunications services in Latin America. Pay television (TV), mobile phone, fixed telephony, fixed broadband, and voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services are covered. Several regulatory issues affecting telecommunications service providers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela are discussed. In addition, the main topics in the countries’ regulatory agendas for 2013 are explored.
