This study covers the computerized maintenance management system known as CMMS when it is deployed on an enterprise-wide scale known as the enterprise asset management solution (EAM). Along with optimized cost control and resource allocation, safety, health, and environmental legislation compliance are anticipated to drive demand for the EAM market. The emergence of full-fledged ERP solutions incorporating EAM features is increasing the competitive nature of the market and allowing customers with lots of choices, but at the same time, right-sizing of the solutions meeting customer demand is a major issue.
