Description

The amendment to the Polish act that came into force on 1 January 2012 is expected to transform the whole system of municipal waste management into a more-market-oriented business and result in local authorities becoming more open to Public-Private Partnerships in waste management services. The race to provide waste management services has already started, and the years 2012 and 2013 are expected to bring attractive opportunities for private investors, both domestic and large international companies that have already begun to penetrate the Polish waste market.
