The demand for IP contact centers, is still in its early stages. TDM contact centers are still the preferred choice. In 2005, all countries covered in this study had a larger portion of TDM seats than the hybrid and pure IP seats. Contact centers in the APAC region, currently operate in three different modes, that is, those with Time-division Multiplexing (TDM), Hybrid, or Pure IP seats This study will focus on the second and third modes, and examine it’s co-relation with the first. The study will also analyze the sale of ACD licenses to understand the vendor landscape.
