Sluggish exports resulting in the devaluation of local currencies led to a continuous rise in inflation levels of several regional economies such as Colombia, Chile, and Brazil. As a result, consumer sentiments are likely to remain suppressed; however, ongoing government initiatives and structural reforms may in turn improve investment scenario in late 2015.
