Description

Countries in North Africa and the Middle East will continue to be hampered by social tensions, but certain countries, such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia will continue to expand upon infrastructure investments, which will promote growth in non-oil private sectors. Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa will show strong growth, driven by local demand in the retail sectors. Oil production in these countries will remain under pressure during 2014 as demand from Europe will recover slowly.
