Description
The research service provides a detailed assement of the type of caternary systems used in top 6 leading European rail networks - Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdoma and Poland. It analyses the electrification wiring potential in 3 different segments namely electrification renewal, new mainline electrification and high speed line electrification and calculates the volume of copper cable requirements for electrification in these countries. The study observes mailine electrification renewals, with a renewal potential of 23,620 km during the forcast period to be the biggest opportunity for cable manufacturers. The study also throws light on the adoption of new copper alloys and their market trends in the countries covered.
