The market for IT infrastructure outsourcing services in Latin America has experienced an unequal development pattern throughout different countries. While Brazil and Mexico have already experienced implementation of large IT infrastructure outsourcing projects that have created a solid recognition for these types of services, other countries such as Venezuela and Colombia still lag behind in terms of adoption of these solutions on a larger scale. The demand side has also experienced factors that delay the adoption of IT outsourcing on a greater scale. However, the economic benefits brought by these solutions, especially in Latin America, signal that the market will have a sharp development once the short term barriers are removed.
