Following on the heels of recent NEM and ISV mergers, acquisitions and partnerships as well as service provider consolidation and joint venture announcements, Nokia and Siemens announced on June 19, 2006 that a new company would be formed combining both companies’ network equipment operations to form the new joint venture, Nokia-Siemens Networks.
