This research aims to serve as an industry handbook for rail operators and vendors. The database is organized and built up from bottom up by country and railway company. The database lists key figures such as passenger volumes, total passenger movement in passenger kilometer, revenue from ticket sources, and minimum, maximum, and average ticket price. Clients are able to analyze data by parameters such as longest distance of service (domestic or international), by segment (such as high-speed, intercity, and airport express). The database covers rail operators globally and parametric modelling has been used to obtain the sales channel split for each rail operator.
