In this SPIE, Stratecast takes our investigation into portable workspace two steps further. The first step is a usability test. Supplied with evaluation portable workspace units from Imation and SPYRUS, Stratecast tests the usability and functionality of these units in real life scenarios—a business-issued laptop, a personal laptop, and a personal desktop. Second, and partially based on discussions with a customer from each of these companies, we describe the market scenario that could propel portable workspace from niche use cases to a broader part of IT’s personal computing strategy.
