The UK is essentially a maritime nation. For centuries, the royal navy had enjoyed naval superiority. The present British government is facing pressure to make significant financial savings. The government commissioned a strategic defence and security review (SDSR) to tackle this looming issue. This study provides crisp details about the significant revenue opportunities that exist within the British army and the associated stakeholder maps. Major naval procurement programs like aircraft carriers, type 45 destroyers and astute submarines are analysed in this study.
