Description

This research service provides key emerging trends in the area of micromachining which includes processes such as micro injection molding, laser micromachining, and lithography. Micromachining gains significance due to an expanding range of applications and increasing demand for devices such MEMS sensors, microfluidics, micro-components for medical devices, microoptics, and flexible/polymer electronics. The study evaluates the potential for the micromanufacturing processes that are used to manufacture the aforementioned devices.
