In light of climate change and deterioration of non-renewable resources, the sustainable development concept has been widely discussed. Latin America's recent economic development has been responsible for increasing pollution and resource consumption. At the top of it, social inclusion is a paramount demand to maintain economic momentum in the region. This research service illustrates what the ICT industry is doing to help poor communities promote social inclusion, expanding then its addressable market, as well as to change the users' behaviour and to enhance operation efficiency towards rational consumption of natural resources. Besides, this research service shows that ICT green initiatives are fueled by relevant business opportunities.
