In this SPIE, we consider how PaaS can be the tipping point for enterprise cloud adoption. We examine how PaaS has the potential to overcome limitations of many cloud offers in solving enterprise needs. Specifically, we take a look at a recent addition to IBM’s cloud strategy, a PaaS offer that integrates platform and infrastructure to allow enterprises to build, manage, integrate, and run their workloads; seamlessly bridging premises-based private clouds, hybrid clouds, and hosted public clouds.
