The South Asian market has been showing slow progress in intrusion detection systems development especially in countries like Thailand and Indonesia. Countries like Malaysia and Singapore however are quite mature but present few opportunites for perimeter systems. The markets are characterized by multiple vendors and long life cycles. It is expected that by 2015 though, that many of the markets in Southeast Asia will be key contributors the Asia Pacific revenues.
