Description

Turkey’s unique geo-strategic position, as the most eastern member state of the NATO, continues to influence the country’s defence procurement policies, and Turkey’s defence budget continues to rise. In order to encourage domestic defence production, the Turkish defence market will be increasingly difficult for foreign companies to penetrate, consequently leading to a 10 per cent increase in domestic procurement during the forecast period. This is despite modernisation trends. Frost & Sullivan conducted in-depth primary interviews and secondary research in the Turkish defence air, land, and navy segments, including quantitative and qualitative data across platforms - support in service and systems and technologies from 2011 to 2020.
