Growing emission concerns from thermal power plants and the demand for high plant availability has brought in several advancements in servicing power plants. This study covers the current state and future trends in power plants service and maintenance market in the Asia Pacific region. Gas turbine maintenance trends based on commercial, technological, outsourcing, and operating expenditure are discussed in detail. Power plant owners' decision-making criteria and the key role played by original equipment manufacturers and independent service providers are also discussed.
