Description

The fate of oil-producing economies is contingent on oil production being frozen by Saudi Arabia and Iran. The recent conclusion of the Doha Oil Meet has brought no resolution with Saudi Arabia’s refusal to freeze oil, unless Iran agrees to do the same. Oil exporting countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, and Algeria are trying to diversify their economies to hedge impending risks.
