Description

Thermography is used for predictive condition maintenance and energy conservation in a majority of the substantial applications within the petrochemical, steel, process, and semiconductor industries. This technique is a non-destructive, non-contact method that can be used for a wide range of high-temperature applications, such as maintenance of electrical components, equipment with harsh chemicals in reformers, and monitoring of insulated equipment.

Thermography is a process of using thermal/heat sources to detect radiation from an object. The temperature distribution on an object can help analyze its wear & tear and life.

In addition to excessive heat problems, mechanical issues, such as friction in bearings or belt drives, misalignments in gears, air dissipation in boilers, and physical state change in pipelines are other problems identified through thermography.

This research service focuses on understanding the contribution of different equipment and service segments to the global thermography CM market. It covers North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
