The prepaid long distance market is different from other long distance services because a significant part of success is due to adequate marketing through traditional retail channels. It is very important that each service provider focus on what retailers are have the greatest potential for card sales. This study focuses on several retail channels, including: Big Box, Wholesale Club, Drug Store, Bodega, Mom & Pop, c-store and grocery. Interviews were conducted with retail chains in each channel, as well as, retail market organizations to find overall market trends. The study is presented as a MS PowerPoint presentation.
