Composites are increasingly being used in a variety of applications in sectors, such as aerospace, automotive, and power and energy. However, these new materials are susceptible to various kinds of defects during production and also during their service life. Non-destructive (NDT) testing methods are employed to evaluate the properties of the composite materials without causing any damage to it. he impact of key trends, drivers and challenges are also discussed in this report. This research service also analyzes the stakeholder activities and initiatives pertaining to NDT for composites. Evaluation of key NDT technologies for aerospace application sector has been done using appropriate analytical model.
