Description

This issue of Oil and Gas TechVision Opportunity Engine (TOE) focuses on developments in the proppant transporting solutions and carbon dioxide-based enhanced oil recovery. It also focuses on projects aiming to capture carbon dioxide from different large scale sources and utilizing for the EOR process. It covers new enhanced proppant solutions, which have better transportability, lower specific gravity, and capability to employ low quality sand available near the site of operation. In addition, simulation platforms and autonomous robot platforms that improve productivity and reduce inspection time respectively are discussed. Novel methods to enhance health and safety, and prevent leaks in oil and gas production are other areas of focus in this TOE.
