The total number of North American broadband subscribers approached 104 million in 2Q 2013. Year-on-year, subscriber growth rates declined a bit (from 4.0% in 2Q 2013 to 3.9% in 1Q 2014); with DSL services continuing to lose share, as cable, FTTX and satellite services gained subscribers.
