This research service provides insights into the key developments, technology trends and roadmap of evolution of radar, laser and vision sensors used for automobile ADAS. ADAS systems include adaptive cruise control, parking assistance, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, night vision and collision avoidance systems. ADAS systems are currently present predominantly in the premium vehicle segment but with the decrease in cost, they are expected to trickle down to the mid and low segments.
