The water scarcity in Egypt is one of the most critical in the region despite rapid population growth. This has created a lot of opportunities for development of water and wastewater treatment and distribution and sewage collection networks in the region. Along with this, the increasing penetration of private sector participation in Egypt’s water and wastewater sector is expected to drive the growth of this market in the future.
